At Activision, in the Marketing Creative department, I work with the design lead to develop and create assets for social channels. I also work extensively on production work for first party distribution for Sony, Microsoft and Blizzard. The majority of the assets were designed with individual assets provided, which we then edited, developed, added onto and arranged to create the art.
My work is featured on social channels, often for instagram posts and stories. Our design team works with both the Digital Commerce team and GFX team to craft the final product.
One of the larger projects I've worked on is the Season 6 Battlepass Keyart for Modern Warfare. I worked with the Design Team Lead and Marketing Associates to brainstorm and craft this art that is featured extensively on social channels and in-game.
Before creating the art, I researched Farah and her backstory, as well as some common symbols and motifs that respresent her.
In presenting to the client, we iterated a lot of different options, based on character pose, UI symbols in the background, and different color palettes and background images. This season unveiled a hidden subway, and so all art featured this subway that players could hop on and use.
